Shuromeda

Since October 2005, the private foundation Shuromeda runs a kindergarten project for street children in Addis Ababa.

Today, 20 children aged between 4 and 6 years attend the kindergarten. The children receive education (including basic hygiene education), cloths and a daily hot meal. 85 children could enter the public government school and are supported until the end of primary school.
