SHIPO as an NGO
The Southern Highlands Participatory Organisation (SHIPO) is a Tanzanian Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) based in Njombe, Tanzania.
SHIPO's aim is to facilitate organized groups (e.g. communities, women groups) with the successful implementation of self-help projects that contribute to the improvement of their living standards and the alleviation of poverty.

Water storage infrastructure in 9 schools in Ludewa
by SHIPO in Water and Sanitation
Improve the access to water in 9 primary schools in Ludewa district (Figanga, Mbwila, Itundu, Kiyombo, Wecha, Lupande Milo, Masaula and Sambala) through the construction of water storage infrastructures and water points and connecting them to the existing and nearest water distribution networks.
Iyunguya Pr. School Latrines project

The aim of the Iyunguya primary school Latrines Project is to contribute effectively to the development of quality education in 20 primary schools in the Ludewa district through the construction of 2 latrine blocks (for boys and girls) each with 6 Pit Holes for over 500 students.
Mbozi Farmers Livelihood Initiative (MFLI) Project
